News from the "Adventure of consciousness" retreat 10-11 February 2001: (photos: 5 are here ) The adventure of consciousness was a great start into the new year 2001. We had over 30 people from Washington DC, Philadelphia, Albany and Binghamton. Great workshops on the cycle of creation by Dada Ramapremananda, on relationships by Dada Vishvarupananda and Vivek's social workshop, as well as a cultural event facilitated by Anadi. Here some of the comments: "As I reflect on my experience here, I think about calmness and peace. I felt these things in the air, I tasted them in the food, and I heard them in conversations. I came here with an open mind and I am leaving with knowledge about meditation and yoga. The Dada's were very hospitable and I enjoyed listening to what they had to say about past experiences and spirituality. Thank you for this gift. The drum circle was full of beautiful energy. R. O'Connor
LAPSIT...in a circle of happiness "We are still drumming and singing, yesterday was a full day in a flame...so let's go and be sparks." A.Jacobs Thank you for coming to share your knowledge. What a great way to live life- inspiration, and then going back to the world helping. I'm getting much closer to myself each day and all these vibes helped so much. I am sure our lives will cross once again. Love, Monika Kaminski
GOOD FOOD, good mood... Peace is a whisper in my soul... If I listen closely, I will hear the silence. Thank you for reminding me to listen and take flight. Monique (MO) Mikhail
Fighting for the last bits of pizza... I had an excellent time as I knew I would though what's more is that I am leaving excited, inspired and confident that the people I shared this time with will effect the world in a positive way. Yeah to Us ! Thank you. Amy U. Dolan
Playing catch on the haybails... This was one of the best weekends I have had in a long time. It was relaxing, cleansing and I had no worries or inhibitions - every one was accepting and loving of everyone else and I think that is one of the most important qualities to have in life. I will definitely always remember my time here. Melanie Malkin
