Quest Center's boys adventure camp or Young Spiritual Warrior Camp 2003: Through the Cakras and beyond...
10 young men ventured out to quest for the ultimate goal : Moksa, or indeterminate liberation. The theme was about the Cakras and how to control them as well as the different stages of consciousness connected to them. Every of the seven days was dedicated to one Cakra, culminating with the obstacle course with seven Cakras. The course took them through woods, past cemetaries and finally to a lake that was to be crossed swimming to reach the ultimate destination : the Sahasrara Cakra. With the help of a password they unlocked the key to reach the truth or ultimate freedom...
Thanks to Dada Suprakash, Dada Rudraprakashananda, Dada Mokseshvarananda and Jiivanmukta without forgetting the counselor in training (CIT) Prashanta, this was one of the most beautiful camps ever in the 11 year history of boys adventure camps at Anandavratii without missing a single one...
The margii boys brought their friends who have attended this program for several years and all of them (5) got initiated into meditation. Everyone expressed that they want to continue attending this program even if they get beyond the age limit of 14y. So I am hoping to develop an alternative program for the above 14y. olds next year, or make exceptions for some, since I could not have more than one or 2 counselors in training... If you have a son between 10 and 14, don't miss this opportunity to send them next year.
