county from knob to knob...Also known as Elk hill on the topo maps or better....
El kill ! 22nd April 2001 Course map / description and timing / story We found the only and highest access road that was open, leading us through some weekend properties on the south side of the south knob of Elk mountain....We parked the car and offloaded...
On top of the south knob of El Kill !
The view from a clearing inbetween the two knobs was awesome ! This was the reward for pushing through bushy hunter trails from the south knob.
On our return underneath highway 81, we decided the non-conventional creekbed after narrowly escaping dangerous dogs from properties before. We did ask to get through somebodys private road, but with the condition not to tell other bikers... The dogs made it clear to us... |
